    PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE 
     

Maintenance Worker/Technician/Emergency Fire Fighting

      Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources, Thunder Bay Ontario

2001-Pres.-Primarily responsible for property maintenance such as painting,

      carpentry repairs and cleaning. Includes operation and maintenance of

      farm equipment, front end loaders, lift trucks and motor vehicles. Acted as a

    crew member for Forestry, Growth and Yield as well as

    Fisheries crews. While working for MNR fire I held the positions of

      Heli-base Mgr, Warehouse Mgr, and assistant camp boss. 
 

Float Pilot

      Atikokan Aero Service LTD, Atikokan, Ontario

    2008-2009-Was responsible for the safe operation of the Beaver and Cessna 180 float plane. During the summers the position of safety officer was held to comply with our Safety Management System. Completed weekly and monthly safety checks around the aircraft as well as company property to proactively identify hazards. 
     

Ramp Attendant

      Maintair Aviation Services LTD., Thunder Bay Ontario

2001-2007- Primarily engaged in the unloading and the loading of passenger and cargo

    aircraft. Additional responsibilities include: ramp management, heavy equipment operator, equipment maintenance, aircraft refueling and aircraft grooming. Involved in the deicing and anti icing of aircraft 
     

Float Pilot/Dockhand/General Laborer

      Kabeelo Airways and Lodge, Ear Falls, Ontario

    2007- Was in charge for the safe operation of a Cessna 180 float plane flying guests as well as overloads into the outpost lakes. When not in the air, I assumed the role of dockhand catching planes and helping offload/on-load guests and freight. Daily duties also included cutting wood, cutting grass, washing planes, general maintenance around the lodge and lending a helping hand wherever needed.

2006- Was responsible for the safe operation of a Cessna 180 float plane flying both

    guests and freight to the lodge, as well as outpost cabins. When not flying acted as a dockhand catching planes and boats at the dock and helping offload/on-load guests and freight. Daily duties also included outboard motor maintenance, generator upkeep (fuel/oil), plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
