Seeking seaplane instructor(s) to give add-on SES ratings at Lake Hood
at Anchorage International Airport for summer 2009.
Equipment is a clean C170B seaplane on EDO 2000s with new 180hp engine
and constant-speed prop. We have a 20x20 "log cabin" structure right on
the water with two slips. Housing available across the street if needed.
Must have experience giving seaplane ratings. Simply being a CFI with a
seaplane rating will not satisfy the insurance company unless there are
compensating factors such as thousands of hours of SES time in AK with
significant SEL instruction time perhaps.
A significant number of SES ratings given may make having "Alaska time"
unnecessary.
